Guerilla Composting provides residential subscribers with a 5-gallon bucket and lid. Over a week (or two), you fill it with all of your household organic scraps. On your pickup day, you’ll leave the bucket near the front entrance of your residence; we will replace the BioBag, and you start over fresh.
Your options are: Add 1% for Open Space
- A one-time payment for weekly pick-up for the year = $264 ($266.64)
- A one time payment for bi-weekly pick-up for the year = $154 ($155.54)
- Month to month payment for weekly pick-up = $24 ($24.24)
- Month to month payment for biweekly pick-up = $14 ($14.14)
Guerilla Composting proudly participates in the 1% for Open Space program, a non-profit consortium of businesses working to permanently preserve open lands, recreational accesses, viewshed corridors, ranchlands, ecosystems, watersheds and wildlife habitats in Gunnison County. Since its inception 1% for Open Space has raised over $2.7 million dollars to save over 12,000 acres in Gunnison County.
Your donation is voluntary and very much appreciated. Please consider adding 1% to protect our beautiful home
We understand that this is a transient community. There is a lot of moving about and a lot of comings and goings. We are happy to work with you!

- Let us know if you move locally, we can move with you

This is not your average waste Management service
This is OUR community too! We live it, we love it and we want to get to know the people that share it with us! It's not your average guy or gal that spends their days elbow deep in worms and dirt, so, say hi when we pass by because you are sure to see our faces elsewhere!
All of your organics are collected and composted locally. We will provide our partners with finished material a few times throughout the year. Those who do not have a use for it may choose to donate their share to a local farm, garden or other food-production entity in the valley.
Get connected to your neighbors and your local food system. Composting with us means becoming a member of a growing community of people who care about the place they live. Help us get hands on with the schools, local programs and our own educational programs.
Starting something new can be tricky and take some trial and error. We are here with you every step of the way, so feel free to call or e-mail us with any questions, comments, suggestions or concerns you may have.
